For example, in the Netherlands vs. Uruguay game, how did the players communicate? Do they speak in Dutch or Spanish? Or do they just speak in their own native tongue, and the other player will have to interpret the meaning however they want to?

Some footballers speak multiple languages, but there are hand signals in soccer. Like two hands pointing down means "diving" and etc.

I havent been watching many of the games and i know about Giovanni Dos Santos and Carlos Vela. But can I get a rundown about whats there best attributes and other players. Also whats the name of the goalie, i hear hes pretty good, is it Blanco?

Vela and dos santos great but also watch "chicharito Hernandez". The first two are already poised for really good things in Europe but if you ask me i think chicharito has been under the radar. he is solid player and always seems to be at right place right time. Vela is fast and classic finisher Mexico has always needed.( although hasn’t scored yet) Dos Santos is great player with his ball control he not only sets himself up on goal chances but his teammates as well. The TEAM is solid all the way around. Not to mention Blanco( another top goalie for the future) who’s only allowed 1 goal in tourney so far!!!! have fun watching all of them THURSDAY against CONGO and decide who the best is

I’ve been wondering this. After a game is done, to show sportsmanship, players trade jerseys with players of the opposing team.

Many players like to keep them to remember the games and also they exchange jerseys as a sign of sportsmanship.

Sports players will frequently wear black armbands to commemorate the death of a teammate or close colleague – for instance, the Liverpool/Manchester City players are wearing them today in memory of the Motherwell captain who passed away yesterday.

My question(s) are:

(a) Where did the wearing of black armbands first originate? Would I be correct in guessing that it’s something to do with the military?
(b) When was the first recorded instance of sports players wearing black armbands?

The wearing of black armbands is a custom which originated in Ancient Egypt and came to the West through Republican Rome, when the Toga pulla made of dark-coloured wool was worn during periods of mourning. I dont know when it was first used by sportsmen.

The Superhero Squad game for the Wii advertises that 2 players can play on adventure mode, but once your select this option and move forward only one player (1) gets to play.

While player one is on adventure mode, the other player must pres the + button on the wii remote. Then player two would have control of the other character.
